Montchavin-les Coches belongs to the ski area of La Plagne and is situated in a vast clear area in the Tarentaise, facing the Mont-Blanc. This ski resort is divided in 2 villages, the old Montchavin with ancient chalets and alleys, and Les Coches, modern but with a traditional architecture.
